ROLE: Wordpress Developement, design and implementation.

I have currently finished developing myeverestchallenge.com. A great website for a great cause. Designed by Cybercom as their primary charity for the year 2009, I feel very privileged to be involved.The website follows Gavin Bate’s journey to Climb Mount Everest,  “as an unique opportunity to raise the profile of Moving Mountains, the charity that he founded in 2002 and to directly raise the funds required to further the charitable cause.”

I personally have been intrigued by Gavin, who gave a talk on success to the employees during my time at Cybercom. This guy has helped change so many peoples’ lives and the sense of “What am I doing good in the world?” comes over almost everyone who listens to Gavin talk.

His Charity Moving Mountains “are a charity based in Ireland which works mostly in Kenya and Nepal, helping street children and their families with education, health and welfare, building and promoting environmentally and economically sustainable projects, and providing much-needed employment and income for a wide range of people caught in the poverty trap”.
