Dublin’s Skyline to get an animated make over!
57 Days to go until Dublin’s Liberty Hall is turned into a digital animation master piece.
During the Dublin Theatre Festival from September 24 to October 11, the West and South sides of Liberty hall building will change constantly and will have in the region of 330 windows form a massive screen to display artworks created by the public.
Each of the 330 windows will be fitted with sophisticated LED lighting, this will enable the building to change colour at night and each window will act as a “pixel” on a screen to display the different designs.
The Sons of Maxwell came up with this ingenious way to complain about the handling of one of their $3,500 Taylor guitars at Chicago O’Hare airport. After one of the band witnesses a baggage handler throwing their guitar around, the guitar was broken. When they complained to United, they just passed the buck on and on and on for 9 months, until Dave Caroll gave up and wrote 3 songs about the experience, as well as shooting a video.
